Henrietta will be going back to her wonderful foster Mom tomorrow or the next day. We are going to be sad! If you are a blog reader you know that we all talk about how wonderful our current foster is-and it's pretty much true. But this little girl is special. She has been zero-problematic, her personality is so cute-as she is-just a joy for us and for the rest of our pack. Someone is going to be so lucky to have Henrietta join their home...Good luck, sweet girl!

Today Henrietta, Max, and Dash helped gift wrap at Borders. Henrietta and Max worked the crowd in search of forever homes while Dash instructed them in the proper retirement moves. A greyt day, and lots on interest and fun. It's going to happen for these two sweeties-as it has for Dash!

Warren and I are babysitting Henrietta for the week and I thought I'd tell you all our first impressions about this adorable girl. I picked her up from her Awesome Foster Mom last night (she is their 24th foster!). By the time we left the parking lot she was lying down, and slept all the way to Murfreesboro. Within an hour she had met our two greyhounds and two mixed-breeds, our two cats, eaten a big dinner, and found the best bed in the house (see above). She slept all night on her bed in our bedroom without a peep. This morning after a big breakfast (she loves meal times) she walked right into her crate without a peep and was sitting quietly when I returned from shopping. She has had no accidents here, and her foster Mom tells me she's had none there, either. She is very sweet, a happy girl who wags her tail much of the time. If the first 24 hours are any indication she is going to be a great pet, I think especially for a first-time greyhound owner. Henrietta and I will be wrapping presents at Borders tomorrow from 11-2:30 so come out and meet this sweetie!
